MagiKitch'n APM-RMB-660CR 60" Low Profile Charbroiler with Cast Iron Radiants, 195,000 BTU, 13 Burners
The MagiKitch'n APM-RMB-660CR is the big one in this group: 60 inches of low profile charbroiler fitted with cast iron radiants in place of the standard radiants. It is made for operations that grill all day and want a wide cooking surface they can divide between products and temperatures, all on a work table, counter or properly insulated refrigerated or freezer base. Large steakhouses, grill concepts and catering operations are the natural home for it.
13 independently controlled stainless steel burners deliver a total of 195,000 BTU/hr (57.2 kW) under cast iron radiants, with 1,404 sq. in. of cooking area across three top grid sections. Individual front burner controls, mounted every 4" to 4-1/2", let you run hot and cooler zones side by side across the grate.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Cast iron under the grate. Cast iron radiants take the place of the standard V-shaped stainless radiants above the burners, for cooks who prefer cooking over cast iron.
- A grid that does not warp. The free floating top grid of 1/2" steel rods expands and contracts freely, and the E-Z Tilt design drains grease into the front trough.
- Zones that match your tickets. Individual front burner controls let you keep one area searing hot for steaks and another gentler for chicken, fish or vegetables.
- Space saving by design. The low profile cabinet is meant for work tables, counters or properly insulated refrigerated and freezer bases, so you can store proteins right under the grill.
- Built for long shifts. Stainless burners, a fully insulated double-walled stainless cabinet, a 6" service shelf with towel bar and 2 crumb trays make daily use and closing easier.
Choosing your setup
Gas type: choose natural gas or liquid propane (LP) above to match your kitchen's supply. A 3/4" regulator ships unattached and must be fitted before the gas line is connected. Prefer the standard stainless radiants? See the APM-RMB-660; other widths include the APM-RMB-648CR.
