Plug-and-play options for indoor kitchens, dessert bars, and venues without a gas line. Cast iron plates with precision thermostatic controls.

How to Choose the Right Commercial Crepe Griddle

  1. Estimate your daily crepe volume. Single-plate models handle 60–90 crepes/hr; double-plate models double output and let you alternate sweet and savory plates.
  2. Pick your fuel. Gas (natural or propane) for outdoor stalls, mobile units, and high-heat throughput. Electric for indoor kitchens, dessert bars, and ventilation-restricted spaces.
  3. Round vs. square frame. Round frames are the traditional French choice and slightly more compact; square frames give you a flat batter-catch lip and more stable counter placement.
  4. Check your power. 120V CEBIR models plug into a standard outlet (5-15P or 5-20P). 220V models (CEBIF/CECIF/CECIJ) need a dedicated circuit. Gas models require a 3/8" gas connection and a certified gas technician for install.
  5. Don't skip the accessories. A wood or stainless spreader (rozell), 16" spatula, and CLEAN+ pads are non-negotiable for fast service and cast-iron seasoning longevity.

Applications

Krampouz crepe griddles are at work in creperies, French bistros, breakfast cafes, dessert shops, food trucks, festival concessions, hotels, banquet halls, school cafeterias, dosa stations, and Indian-fusion restaurants across the United States. The same cast iron plate that perfects a Breton galette also turns out flawless dosas, uttapams, pancakes, and Dutch baby batters.
