Stainless Steel Steam Pans

Stainless steel steam pans, also called hotel pans or gastronorm pans, are vital in commercial kitchens. These versatile pans are used for storing, cooking, and serving food in buffets, prep lines, and steam tables. They are durable, easy to clean, and resistant to rust and corrosion.

Standard Sizes of Stainless Steel Steam Pans

Steam pans follow a standard sizing system based on full-size pans, with each variation being a fraction of a full-size pan. Below are the common sizes:

  2. Half-Size Pan (12" x 10")

  3. Third-Size Pan (12" x 6.67

  5. Sixth-Size Pan (6" x 6.67")

Uses of Stainless Steel Steam Pans in Restaurants

  • Buffets and Catering: Perfect for holding and displaying hot or cold foods. Can be used with chafing dishes or steam tables.
