Yanco RM-312 Rome Melamine 12-1/2" x 3-3/4" Boat Platter, White — Case of 48 (4 dz)

A boat: twelve and a half inches end to end, three and three-quarter inches across, and 1-3/4 inches deep through the middle. The narrow walled form is drawn for food that comes in a line and needs containing - sauced asparagus, a row of dumplings, pickled vegetables, a gratin for two, bread sticks stood up.

At twelve and a half inches on its long axis it serves as a platter, but the narrow width means it fits between covers on a crowded table where a rectangular platter would not. White melamine, and the sloped interior lets a serving spoon sweep it clean. Forty-eight boats to a case.
