cambro-8sfspp-camsquares-classic-translucent-food-storage-container-8-qt
Cambro 8SFSPP CamSquares Classic Translucent Food Storage Container, 8 qt. — Case of 6

The Cambro 8SFSPP is a 8 qt. CamSquares Classic Translucent food storage container, molded from see-through polypropylene with Winter Rose graduations and measuring 8 3/8" x 8 3/8" x 9 1/8" with its cover on. The square body stores about a third more product per shelf than a round container of the same capacity, and the translucent wall lets staff check contents and levels without opening the lid. Sold by the case of 6. Covers are sold separately.

Translucent Polypropylene: See the Level, Save the Shelf

CamSquares Classic Translucent containers are molded from polypropylene into a straight-sided square with a flat rim sized for Cambro's snap-on CamSquare covers. The resin is rated from -40°F to 185°F (-40°C to 85°C), so one container can go from the freezer to the walk-in to a warm prep area, and it shrugs off the acids, stains and odors that build up in heavily used storage. Capacity graduations in quarts and liters are molded into the wall and color-coded by size (Cambro notes they are approximate), and the 12 qt. and larger sizes carry handles molded into the body for a safe two-hand lift and faster drip-drying when inverted on a rack. Sizes run from 2 qt. to 22 qt., all NSF listed and dishwasher safe.

For an operator the difference shows up in the cooler and at inventory time. Square containers nest side by side with no dead space, which Cambro rates as 33% better space usage than round containers, and the translucent wall plus molded graduations lets a cook read how much mirepoix, stock or marinade is left from the doorway. Snapping on a CamSquare cover closes the container against drips and cross-contamination between shelves. The polypropylene body costs less than Cambro's polycarbonate Camwear line while still delivering the durability that has kept the Translucent CamSquare a kitchen standard for decades, and personalization is available on every size.

Why Operators Choose It

Square footprint: fits 33% more food into the same shelf space than round containers of equal capacity

Translucent polypropylene: see contents and fill level without lifting the cover

Wide temperature range: rated -40°F to 185°F for freezer, cooler and warm prep use

Stain, acid and odor resistant: tomato, citrus and brines do not discolor or linger in the wall

Molded-in handles on larger sizes: secure two-hand carry and quick drying after washing

Color-coded graduations: Winter Rose quart and liter markings molded in for fast inventory

NSF listed and dishwasher safe: runs through commercial warewashing with the rest of the smallwares

Ideal For

Walk-in and reach-in storage of prepped vegetables, proteins and sauces

Freezer storage of stocks, soups and portioned items

Dry storage of flour, sugar, rice and bulk ingredients

Kitchens that want see-through storage at a lower cost than polycarbonate

Specifications

Model

8SFSPP

Series

Cambro CamSquares Classic – Translucent

Capacity

8 qt.

Graduation Color

Winter Rose

Dimensions with Cover (L x W x H)

8 3/8" x 8 3/8" x 9 1/8"

Case pack

6 (sold by the full case)

Case weight

6.9 lbs.

Material

Translucent polypropylene

Temperature range

-40°F to 185°F (-40°C to 85°C)

Shape

Square, straight-sided

Certifications

NSF listed; dishwasher safe

Personalization

Available from Cambro on all sizes

Certifications

NSF

Warranty

Cambro limited warranty

What's Included

8SFSPP CamSquares Classic Translucent container(s), Sold by the case of 6.; cover sold separately

Related Items (sold separately)

Cambro CamSquare snap-on covers and seal covers (sold separately)

Cambro CamSquares Classic Poly containers (SFSP series) for opaque white storage

Warranty

Cambro limited warranty.
